Van Os Excel G-Lite Pro Manual Wheelchair

The Excel G-Lite PRO wheelchair is a new model from Van Os medical and is described as a compact transport wheelchair. It is available as both a self propelled or transit wheelchair with either 12.5″ or 24″ wheels.

At just 12 KGs (26.5 lbs) this really is a lightweight wheelchair but is not compromised in strength and will carry users up to 113 KGs (17.5 stone). Its strong aluminium frame folds to a compact space making the wheelchair easy to store and transport. There is no compromise on features either, with quick release rear wheels, and swing away detachable footrests with heel straps. The two tone black blue upholstery gives the wheelchair a very contemporary look and is removable for washing both seat and back rest. The users can adjust the arm rest height for comfort and support and also have a lap belt for added security. There is a convenient storage pocket on the back of the wheelchair.

The wheelchair attendant has access to step bars to assist in mounting kerbs and door thresholds making it easier to raise the front castors on the wheelchair. The front castors are 7″ PU making them puncture proof for real peace of mind. With a folding back rest for compact storage and parking brakes.

Available in 16″ 18″ and 20″ seat widths, this compact folding self propelled transport wheelchair represents real value for money and would suit users who travel frequently and need a lightweight solution.
